bootbox is the world's compact, low-carbon heat pump.

we're building the bootbox heat pump. compared to conventional air conditioners, bootbox will be less noisy, smaller, lighter, easy for one person to install (without fear of dropping it out of the window). it cools and heats, which means that you won't need to burn fossil fuels to heat your space in the winter. bootbox will be ENERGY STAR certified and will achieve that certification without high-global warming potential (high-GWP) refrigerants, making it the world's first low-carbon heat pump.
